St. Petersburg Public Sports Organization The St. Petersburg Yacht Club was established in 2007 and is the successor to the oldest yacht club in the world - the Neva Fleet, conceived by Peter the Great at the beginning of the 18th century.

Multiplying the glorious traditions of the Russian fleet and actively participating in international sailing life, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club today is one of the largest in the world.

The Club’s activities cover a number of major areas, including shipbuilding, historical research and educational programs, sports training and marine practice for youth, Olympic sports, sailing adults and other large-scale social projects.
